Preston Gamroth signs with Vertibo University

Memorial Senior Preston Gamroth has signed a letter of intent with Vertibo University in La Crosse, Wis. Gamroth has played as pitcher for Memorial and has an impressive 3-0 win streak as a starter. In addition to that Gamroth has been offered two letters of intent from two different colleges and two different sports – baseball and swimming. Along with the win streak Preston has some amazing statistics. As a pitcher he has only allowed two runs in the 2016 season.

Gamroth weighs in at 170 lbs. and stands 5’10. He pitches with his right hand and he loves to use fastballs, change-ups and curveballs. His dash time from home plate to first base was 4.95 seconds. Gamroth will be leaving Memorial and move on to Vertibo University this fall. Gamroth also plays left field for the Old Abes.
