Memorial’s Entrepreneurship class held their Dodgeball Tournament May 16 from 6:00-9:00 p.m. in the game gym. The event was organized by entrepreneurship students as a class project. There were two brackets for teams of five to sign up for. Play was competitive, in which headshots were fair game, and noncompetitive, in which headshots were not allowed. Each team was guaranteed at least two games and were encouraged to dress up. The winning team received t-shirts.

Each individual was charged $4 to participate, and Gordy’s donated hotdogs and buns to sell, raising a total of $2ID. The money was donated to Bob’s House for Dogs, a canine foster care and adoption facility. “I learned a lot from it and the money went to a good cause so it was a win-win,” says sophomore Dominic Yates, Entrepreneurship student.
